Kayaking down the Sheyenne

Bill and I kayaked down the Sheyenne today. We think we went about 22 miles, it took about 5 hours, and we had a blast. We saw bald eagles, lots of owls, huge turtles, deer, and many different ducks and birds. The coolest part of our day was when we came around a bend and a deer was swimming across the river. That was really neat to see. We are both totally fried even though we both lathered on the sunscreen. We definetely plan to do this again this summer! We did not take the camera down the river just incase we were to get a bit wet. Next time I think we might give it a try.
