One year ago today!!

"When the world says give up, Hope whispers, one more time."

One year ago today, Bill and I were getting ready for bed, reflecting on the day and thinking, boy I hope this works! I am very open about our fertility road and sometimes feel a little bit bitter that we have to travel it. However, the HOPE shines through it all and the HAPPINESS we feel because of God's grace and our sweet girl outshines all of it.
Sophie and Jillian are miracle babies. Sophie was our only fresh cycle baby while Jillian is our frozen baby :) One year ago today, we transfered Jillian. We were scared beyond belief! We knew this was it. If the transfer didn't work, we were done. Thankfully we kept our faith, had lots of prayer warriors and here we are today!
I can walk through every hour of that day, what we were doing, how we felt and who we saw. I remember the drive there and the drive home. We talked about what our life would be like one year later. We talked about how we would be attending Summerfest and Morgan's birthday. We talked about how we would be holding our 3 month old baby, wondering if we would have twins, if we would have a girl (s) or a boy (s). It was a time full of hope and trepidation.
NOW HERE WE ARE! We attended Summerfest today holding our 4 month old little girl (she was a little early) with our friend Shannon and her girls. Tomorrow we will go to Morgan's 2nd birthday party.
It is amazing what we have been through these past years and what we are dealing with now. Things, I never thought I could do. But I can, we can. Why? Because we are never alone. God carries us, walks with us and keeps us in his arms  always.

Our little lady is growing, giggling and a little gassy ;)

Jillian Josephine is the love of our lives and we are beyond thankful to have her with us!

We celebrated Dale and Becky's 40th Anniversary together as a family! We decided that we would do it a few days early so we would all be able to enjoy each other's company.
We got Grandma and Grandpa new cookware, I think they were impressed!

Jillian is cutting two teeth right now so she was a bit moody...like she cried for three hours straight! Bill was a trooper and allowed me to spend time with my family as he cuddled and hugged her.

My mom wasn't sure if she would make it for Morgan's 2nd birthday on Sunday so she gave Morgan her gifts early. She was pretty happy!!

She loved her Minnie Mouse sleeping bag!
Then Morgan decided it was time to try out her new baseball glove, OUTSIDE!

We then had a little family baseball time.

Bill and Jillian made it out to enjoy the fun for a little bit as well.
Dale and Becky with their grandchildren. I love this picture!!!
Brendan is such a special guy and I quite enjoy spending time with him. He always brings a smile to my face!
Jillian was letting everyone know that her teeth were still hurting.
Brendan had to take a break in the outfield.
Becky busted out her glove and came out of softball retirement for the game.
Then it was time for a quick hug and snuggle before we headed home.

Sinner Babysitters

When the Sinner children were little, I got to babysit them. It was pretty awesome that they took the time out of their day to hang out with Jillian. They are all such a blessing in our lives and we are very thankful to have them as friends! Jillian had an absolute blast with this family!

3 month professional

Jillian had her 3 month pictures taken at the end of June. I was a little slow in getting them up!

Jillian had a few moments of this...
She can be emotional at times, like her father ;)
