My dog really stinks

Literally, he stinks. Gus smells like a combination of dead animal and calf feces.
However, I have a feeling I am going to like Tuesdays. Open gym begins at 5:30, I get done with work at 4:00. I decided that it is a waste of gas and time to run home between so I have decided to just stay in town. This means that Bill arrives home to greet Gus and Sandy every Tuesday.
Today Bill drove into the yard and Gus was hooked up to his cord OUTSIDE. Now when I left our home at 1:00 Gus was sleeping on the couch, INSIDE the house. What did Gus do between 1:00 and 6:15? Good questions. We know his activities involved something disgusting and something tiring. He is absolutely exhausted and reeks. No need for a walk tonight! Bill is going to attempt a walk with Sandy. Now if you remember from previous posts. Sandy is NOT into the whole excise thing. Usually walks with Gus and Sandy end in Sandy sitting down five minutes into the walk and Gus urinating on her. Which then results in having to bathe Sandy.

Anyway...the point of this blog is Gus is a naughty smelly and very very very tired little dog.

The Swansons' Graduation Day

My buddies Jane and Ken will become empty-nesters this fall. Their three wonderful young adults graduated from Central Cass on May 23, 2010. Kelsey, Lyndsey and Matthew are wonderful kids who are great role models. It has been a true blessing getting to know all three of them.

I will greatly miss Matthew and Kelsey's random stops to see what was up in the 5th grade world. Attending their concerts, watching Matthew and Kelsey play baseball and softball and having Lyndsey as my VB stat.

I knew this day would come but I am a bit sad to watch them go out into the world. I am however, VERY excited to see what they accomplish.

Both Lyndsey and Kelsey are attending VCSU (where the future awaits you) and Matthew will be at NDSU. Kelsey is going into Elementary Education, Lyndsey will be a Music Buisness Major, and Matthew in Zoology. I am a bit concerned about Matthew because he plans to eventually go into Herpetology (GROSS!) Can you imagine studying snakes-ugh the horror;)

Here are a few pics of their ceremony.

What a Guy

I am very blessed to have an amazing husband who puts up with well, ME:) I am amazed at his work ethic, love for his nephews, care for our dogs, playful nature, and love for me.
Bill is a busy guy and is loved by me even when he is...

Concentrating at the task at hand.
Snuggling and smiling.
Working hard.

Looking out for a whopper.

Letting loose!

Showing up late but showing up nonetheless, and being forgiven instantly as long as he is ready to hear about the fun.
Being a good sport and dressing for success.

Posing for a picture with the one he loves.

Setting an example of what to do on a Sunday afternoon.

Doubling as a pack mule/comfy spot to sit.

Taking a needed nap.

OR hiding behind the couch.
Bill is a wonderful man who I am honored to be married to. He is working hard, studying hard, and praying for the best.
