Duck Butts and Lake Time

Is there anything more adorable than duck butts up in the air? I think not!

I love going out in the middle of the lake and taking pictures!

Bill and I spent our Sunday afternoon, swimming, chatting and reading on the pontoon. PERFECT DAy!!

Nice Weekend

This past weekend was nice. I started out on a Dana-Carter adventure to the farm to water plants while Dale and Becky were in Montana for the Ufda Reunion.

Carter was a huge help watering, picking raspberries and catching a few frogs;)

Then we headed to Brendan's BB game. It was a little too hot for this gal, so I only made it through one game and headed home for the evening. It was fun to watch for a bit!

On Saturday we took part in a fun parade in Hope. Parades have got to be about the happiest event to attend:) Here we are in our Case gear, before the parade.

That evening we headed to a beautiful wedding and reception. Then off to Dale and Becky's for more watering and hanging out at the farm. Definitely a fun weekend:)

Bill's birthday adventure

Bill and I ventured to Barnes County for his 33rd birthday activities. We hung out at the farm, went fishing at the Kathryn Dam, cruised on the Valley Road, checked out Little Yellowstone and Clausen's Springs, got some awesome rocks for my rock boarder and had a delicious supper at Becky and Dale's. 

We started out shootin' skrats.

 I spent many days down here growing up. I always thought the Wadeson cabin was so neat and I loved going to down to the dam.

We had to stop by the old bank in Kathryn and pose for a picture just like the day we were married:) The sun was in our eyes again...actually I think it was about the same time of day as well!

4th of July Week 2012

We started the week out with a birthday party for Cousins Taia and Millie.

The boat parade was the biggest it has been in years! The best "float" was definitely the Twins float.

Bill and the girls had fun gathering the bags of candy that were thrown from the floats.

Neatest cooler ever...a great find at the dollar store!

Fishing was a total blast with Bill and Ashley!

We decided to go out in the middle of the lake and watch fireworks this year. It was TOTALLY awesome! We will for sure do that again!

I have been going to Lake Sallie all of my life and I just can not remember a more perfect week. It was so wonderful to spend time with family and the weather was absolutely amazing :)

The sun

Sunsets and Sunrises are two ways we connect with Sophie. We love to watch beautiful sunsets and sunrises and saw a really neat one on Friday night. She would have been six months old on Friday. I should be putting a six month post about all of the neat milestones. However, not our reality. Instead I do have a beautiful sunset that took our breath away and stopped the tears for a few moments.

Matt and Tina Wedding

Bill and I attended the wedding of our fellow Ameniaites, Matt and Tina, on Saturday. It was nice to get out of the house and enjoy a happy event. 

They were absolutely stunning and our sweet little Goddaughter, Laken, was the flower girl. She did a great job walking down the isle:)
